JA Company Program
JA Company Program meets the after-school programming needs of a diverse group of students by providing engaging, academically challenging, and experiential learning sessions in economic education.
JA Our Community
JA Our Community uses posters and games to offer practical information about businesses and the many jobs those businesses offer in a community. Students explore production methods through a simulation game, and they learn about taxes, decision making, and how money flows in an economy.
JA Economics for Success
JA Economics for Success provides practical information about personal finance and the importance of identifying education and career goals based on a student’s skills, interests, and values
JA It's My Business!
JA It's My Business! encourages students to use critical thinking to learn entrepreneurial skills. Those skills include knowing customers' wants and needs, launching effective marketing, and creating detailed business plans. By examining the characteristics of successful entrepreneurs, students learn that a belief in one's self can make positive things happen in life
JA Innovation Camp Primary
JA 6h Camp offers an inspiring method for developing children´s own strengths, learning interaction skills and trying entrepreneurship - all through practice.
In six hours, pupils receive the experience of generating an idea for a product, going through the production process and getting on the stage.
JA Innovation Camp High
At the Innovation Camp (sometimes also called Innovation Challenge, 24-hour Camp etc.) students gather in order to address a specific business challenge to come up with ideas which would solve the problem.
JA Job Shadow
JA Job Shadow prepares students to be entrepreneurial thinkers in their approach to work. In-class sessions prepare students for a visit to a professional work environment, where they will face a series of challenges administered by their workplace hosts. Students learn how to research career opportunities and the skills needed to land and keep their dream job.
Enterprise without Borders
Enterprise without Borders is the international extension to Company Program that teaches the value and importance of international trade and the practical skills necessary to do business across borders. Each Enterprise without Borders site forms a business entity and negotiates a partnership agreement with one or more other sites in other countries, student companies registered under individual sites create joint-ventures with other students companies abroad. A website is available to help the “matching“ between student companies interested in a joint venture or an import-export business. Students from different countries will register and post their offer to participate in the program and supply information for a “marketplace” where products are on display and research on trading can occur. The program encourages twinning between schools and teachers.
