JA Company Program meets the after-school programming needs of a diverse group of students by providing engaging, academically challenging, and experiential learning sessions in economic education.
JA Our Community
JA Our Community uses posters and games to offer practical information about businesses and the many jobs those businesses offer in a community. Students explore production methods through a simulation game, and they learn about taxes, decision making, and how money flows in an economy.
JA More than Money
JA More than Money introduces third-, fourth-, and fifth-grade students to financial literacy and entrepreneurship and to social studies learning objectives that include money-management, goods and services, and global markets. Through hands-on activities and a JA cast of characters serving as symbols for financial literacy and entrepreneurship concepts, students will learn a practical approach to starting a business and making smart decisions about managing money.
JA Our City
JA Our City introduces students to financial literacy and learning objectives for third–grade social studies, including the characteristics of cities, the importance of economic exchange, and how people and businesses in cities manage their money. Students will apply money-management strategies to personal and business accounts. The program is volunteer-taught and kit-based.
JA Our Families
JA Our Families introduces students to learning objectives for first-grade social studies, including families, neighborhoods, money, and needs and wants. Through hands-on classroom activities, students also explore the concept of entrepreneurship, specifically the ways in which businesses provide goods, services, and jobs for families. JA Our Families is volunteer-taught and kit-based with additional extended learning activities and optional digital assets offered throughout.

JA Our Nation provides practical information about the need for employees who can meet the demands of the 21st century job market, particularly high-growth, high-demand jobs. By program's end, students will understand the skills, especially in science, technology, engineering, and math, that will make their futures brighter

JA Economics for Success provides practical information about personal finance and the importance of identifying education and career goals based on a student’s skills, interests, and values
JA Global Marketplace
JA Global Marketplace provides practical information about the global economy and its effect on students’ daily lives. Students explore six key aspects of the global economy
JA It's My Business!
JA It's My Business! encourages students to use critical thinking to learn entrepreneurial skills. Those skills include knowing customers' wants and needs, launching effective marketing, and creating detailed business plans. By examining the characteristics of successful entrepreneurs, students learn that a belief in one's self can make positive things happen in life
JA Be Entrepreneurial
JA Be Entrepreneurial introduces students to the essential components of a practical business plan, and challenges them to start an entrepreneurial venture while still in high school.
JA Economics reinforces concepts of micro- and macro-economics by having students explore the basic characteristics of the U.S. economic system and how economic principles influence business decisions.
The program also introduces students to career opportunities and consumer issues, and reinforces important academic and leadership skills.
Enterprise in Action
JA Enterprise in Action helps students understand the principal characteristics of the U.S. economic system and the role of business in it. The activities reinforce economic concepts taught in U.S. history, state history, and civics courses. Students learn the steps in organizing a business and producing and marketing a product. They also study the social responsibilities of business and the role of government in the U.S. economy.
JA Enterprise in Action begins with the students examining their role as consumers. The students need to see that their choices drive what goods and services businesses produce and how they produce them. With this background, the students are ready to explore how businesses are formed. They discover how the U.S. economic system’s foundations of private property, competition, and the price system affect business operations. They also learn that businesses add marketable value to their goods and services in an effort to make a profit, which is their incentive for doing business. The students also see how social responsibility affects businesses, and they learn the role of government in our economy. Indeed, JA Enterprise in Action is about how businesses interact with individuals (households) and government in a circular flow of money, goods, services, and labor that comprise the U.S. free enterprise or market system.
The International Marketplace helps students appreciate how they are connected, through trade, to people and cultures throughout the world. The activities reinforce economic concepts taught in world history and geography courses. The program begins with a focus on the resources of selected countries and how they impact cultures, governments, and economic systems. The focus then turns to the benefits of international trade and important international economic issues.
JA Innovation Camp High
At the Innovation Camp (sometimes also called Innovation Challenge, 24-hour Camp etc.) students gather in order to address a specific business challenge to come up with ideas which would solve the problem.
JA Job Shadow
JA Job Shadow prepares students to be entrepreneurial thinkers in their approach to work. In-class sessions prepare students for a visit to a professional work environment, where they will face a series of challenges administered by their workplace hosts. Students learn how to research career opportunities and the skills needed to land and keep their dream job.
Global Business Ethics
the program fosters ethical decision-making in students as they prepare to enter the workforce and the global marketplace.
Banks in Action
Through hands-on classroom activities and local, regional, and national competitions, JA Banks in Action teaches high school students the principles of the banking industry and introduces them to the challenges of successfully operating a bank in a competitive environment. A truly international program, JA Banks in Action not only educates young people around the world about the banking industry, but also encourages them to become better citizens and smarter consumers.
Company Program - Middle
In the Company Program - Middle, students put in practice what they learnt in a classroom situation by starting and running mini -enterprises within the school. They do active and responsible work through their own JA Student Company. This practical and encouraging program helps young people learn skills needed in school and working life.
