Head Start Qatar

“Head Start” focuses on resume writing, the science of interviewing, and the benefits of internships. The three sessions provide engaging and experiential training in work-readiness and career perspectives.

Head Start Goals

By providing engaging academically enriching and experiential learning sessions in work-readiness education and career perspectives, Head Start teaches the youth the skills they need to succeed in the work place and the world of business.

Following participation in the program, students will be able to:

• Identify and demonstrate the work-readiness skills needed to research.

• Get and keep a job.

•Develop innovative personal strategies to achieve lifelong learning pursuits and career

opportunities.

• Understand the inportance of internships, how to get them, and what to do before, during and after an internship.

Entrepreneurship Master Class

The program starts by a private sector motivational speaker.

The volunteer asks each one what she/he aspires in life (future life plans). 

The volunteer explains the notion of entrepreneurship as a future life plan and what people can gain from such a direction. 

The volunteer and the teacher then start dividing the children into small groups of 8 participants. 

The volunteer explains what a company means and what is the role of each one in the company. 

The volunteer then asks the sudents about the necessity of having logos, presents them some brands logos and explains the values of each company and the necessity of having values. 

The volunteer asks each one in which department (CEO, Finance, marketing, PR, production...) he/she perceives himself and why. 

 

The voluneer introduces the first activity as she/he describes what a printing company is for and asks the students'groups to create printing companies in the aim to produce X number of celebration cards

The volunteer asks the students to choose a name,logo and values of their companies.

The student groups then develop the organization structure of their companies.

 The small companies send their production manager to buy the necessary material (tools: paper, markers, tape,.....)from a simulated supply store in the class.

The financial department start calculating the costs and revenues.

Students produce their cards, then the marketing manager, the CEO and the production Mangers start pitching for their cards in front of the judging panel.

Companies are assssed on the basis of pitching performance, understanding of the company process, understanding of the financial calculation process.

The program addresses key aspects associated with becoming a successful leader by focusing on topics such as influence, integrity, vision, negotiation and collaboration.

EMC is a workshop that introduces students to the various aspects involved in running a business and to the notion of entrepreneurship and equips them with the skills and attitude necessary to be self employed. 


Entrepreneurship Master Class Middle - Qatar

Entrepreneurship Master Class challenges students to think of starting a business as a career option, identify the key entrepreneurial attitudes and skills needed when starting a business and becoming familiar with the issues and obstacles associated with entrepreneurship. By the end of the day, using the materials given, students are required to produce a tangible product and pitch to a panel of judges for most creative and feasible product.

The half day workshop introduces students to the concept of self-employment and entrepreneurship. It gives them the opportunity to meet an entrepreneur and engage in exciting activities with volunteers that are meant to expand their horizons and direct their thinking towards their professional future in a fun way. The workshops help students think about and rehearse responses to ideas while working in groups. Students work in teams to tackle a series of engaging enterprise challenges.

Entrepreneurship Master Class High School Palestine

Entrepreneurship Master Class is a one-day inspirational workshop-for young people between the ages of 14-25 (with differences in delivery for each age group), it challenges students to think about starting their own business as a career, and becoming entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship Master Class builds on the wider key skills; the participants acquire social skills and experience of communications, team work, sales, marketing, finance, problem solving , personal training through improving their performance and use self-assessment procedures to support the growth of quality businesses and quality jobs.

The program is divided into two parts, first the theoretical part, where they learn about the different business departements, the skills needed for every departement, the sources of funding, social responsibillity and the role of  board of directors.

The second part is practical, in this part the students are divided into groups where each group has to have a CEO, marketing director, sales director, human resources manager and employees. The students are given material and a certain amount of money in order to make their own product and to convince others to buy it, during this part the students face some challenges where they have to make decisions that will put their virtual business at risk and will cause them to loose or win.

“Discover Yourself” aims to raise the self-awareness of students towards their outstanding potentials. Interactive activities compel students to rethink of their roles in life, what values do they believe in, what goals do they have and how they would like to achieve them. Furthermore, the program introduces decision making process, as a means to overcome confronted challenges that might hinder our progress to accomplish our aspirations.

Idea Design High - Lebanon

This program is designed to help the participants excel with their predefined ideas. Based on the reputable design thinking method, participants collaboratively solve problems. This is followed by interactive discussions about the core elements of a great idea. By the end of this learning experience, participants will have created their own ideas for their promising enterprises.
