Entrepreneurs in front of the classroom

In OvK entrepreneurs share their experiences from real life with the young people. During a presentation they get the chance to introduce their company and the reason why they started it. After this, students can ask questions about the job of an entrepreneur.


Start Up

Start Up Egypt is a pipeline tailored to passionate university students and young graduates. The purpose is a holistic, long-term approach that takes a student from any field of study with no prior business experience or knowledge, and transforms them into a successful entrepreneur with an innovative new business.

Smart Start

SMART START program aims to support students with high potential projects to start their own businesses. Having previously completed the main program of INJAZ, Company Program, a training program for the creation and management business, students will take a step back and think carefully and methodically on their idea and work on how to make their project viable and sustainable. SMART START program  is immersed in a process of long-term thinking on their choice of product or service, niche scalability, etc.

Project promoters grouped into junior companies are encouraged to discuss with their mentors how their business can really take shape in the real world. They will discuss issues related to scalability, market penetration and growth.

Through personalized support "professionals to professionals" youth build a comprehensive business plan, they will market their project and develop the skills needed to become seasoned entrepreneurs.


Job Guru

Job guru is a learning computer simulation which goal is to teach primary school students jobs and vocabulary related to the jobs.
Job guru is a game where kids guess various job names on the basis of written and draw hints.

JA Junior Mentor Programme

Students who have graduated from the student company programme but are still at school are invited to join Junior Mentor Programme. They are taugh a short advanced course in entrepreneurship, leadership and management, psychology, commmunication, supporting others, basic tutoring etc.

When new student companies appear at school they go to support teachers-advisors and help newcomers to overcome their problems. They are a valuable support for the teacher as it is easier for them to achieve the trust of their younger peers.

During the trade fair each Junior Mentor gets 5-10 student companies whom they analyse and give advice. At the end they write their report about their learning experience.

SH Workshop@School

Developing an early and appropriate understanding about occupational health is essential to the well being of our future workforce. SH Workshop @School promotes safety and health awareness among students and encourages a positive attitude towards maintaining a healthy and productive personal and professional life.

An Interactive JA Talk Show features two guests/speakers from ExxonMobil Singapore to share their life and work experience with the students. It provides a good exposure for the students as they can interact with industry professionals and ask questions.

Mini Factory Model (Production)

Starts with the simplest of daily use Production Items and explores how these Transform from Raw Material to Finished Product in a Factory.

Mini Factory Model (Supply Chain)

The JA Mini Factory Model – Supply Chain Focus (JA MFM-SC) is the second phase of the MFM program and is conducted with students who have already attended an MFM-P session. This program for Class VI explores the factory model a little further to understand the entire chain of events in the life of a product from farm to fork or from mines to minibuses. The supply chain involved between production and consumption is elaborated. MFM-SC is completely video/game based and very limited volunteer training is required.

Economy of Kazakhstan

“Economy of Kazakhstan” introduces school students to fundamentals of economic concepts, also students study main characteristics of Kazakhstan economical system and how economic principles influence entrepreneurship.
Also programme helps school students to deepen theoretical knowledge, learn economic institutions which provide coherence in society, learn opportunities of career advancement. Students will develop their team and leader skills during the programme studying.


JA Business Skills Pass Program

The JA Business Skills Pass Program (BSP) is specifically designed to supplement student’s learning in the key business subjects under the Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) track. Its well-researched components is created and patterned on some 21st century skills requirements, following international standards, and more importantly to prepare the JA/DepEd Business Simulation program. Designed with specific needs of upper grade students in mind, BSP provides useful and practical content to equip students in their transition to becoming productive and contributing members of the society. This will also provide them with the necessary skills to create and manage an enterprise and prepare them for tertiary education in business.
 


JA Project Management - High

JA Project Management workshop is activity-based, practical-oriented learning. It helps students with important project management skills such as organize their work, understand the environmental constraints related to projects, and holistic approach to plan for projects. The average time for this workshop is 4 hours.

Aflatoun

Aflatoun’s program contains both social and financial themes. Children learn about themselves, child rights, saving, basic financial concepts, and enterprise. Aflatoun puts children at the center of their learning process and engages them with the world around them. By doing so, Aflatoun believes that the social and financial lessons that they receive will stay with them forever.

Steer your Career Tunisia

Steer Your Career targets university students and vocational training centers students, aiming to aquire the skills needed to integrate into the job market and to operate effectively in a competitive job environment.

 

Through hands-on classroom activities, personal assessment, role playing, and reflection exercises, Steer Your Career helps students function effectively in the modern

workplace.

During the program students are introduced to leadership, time management, conflict resolution and communication skills and techniques.

Throughout this course other key concepts covered include problem solving, team dynamics and coping with conflicts in team environments.

The program is delivered in 7 seperate sessions by INJAZ Tunisia corporate volunteers. 

 

 

It is delivered to engineering school students, Vocational Training Centers and also  in a partnership with an NGO (ADRA Jobs Tunisia)

 


Banks and Banking

ABCdar Bancar includes financial concepts like: budget, spending and savings, products, modern payments, and investments, credit and how to use a bank credit. The program includes in-class activities but also Innovation Camp on financial topics.

ABCdar Bancar aims to:

  • Improve the understanding of basic financial concepts and help students correctly use financial terms;
  • Help students understand the importance of basic financial knowledge in their personal and professional life;
  • Provide students with information and training regarding credits and usage of a bank credit;
  • Help students understand the role and importance of planning their personal budget in order to reach long term goals.

Professional and Business Development of Regional Youth

Professional and Business Development of Regional Youth provided its participants the opportunity to develop their professional skills and economic and entrepreneurial skills in order to gain success in the careers. It aims to obtain skills and knowledge which are necessary in running a private business affair.  The project is composed of  two main components: 1. Business training and 2. Student business day. 

Stage 1: Business Training

  • Training phase: Students are trained on financial literacy, success skills and company program.
  • Initiate a Business Plan: Students review the company's business strategies and create business, product, financial and marketing plans. They will learn to develop their leadership skills, write and implement business plans, and create sales goals for their products.

Stage 2: "Student Business Day"

  • Trade Fair Stand - Students get to present their product/ service to the panel of judge and the public.
  • Business Plan Presentation - The business plan presentation summaries the key experiences and achievements of the students' company.
