Business Startup
The INJAZ Business Start Up Program will contribute to the social and economic development, and political stability of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region by engaging the talent of today’s youth and tomorrow’s leaders to create and innovate entrepreneurial solutions to local, regional and international socio-economic and political challenges.
Creatlon
Creatlon consists of 3 parts.
1. Obtaining knowledge in economics and entrepreneurship - quiz in Moodle.
2. Team exercise - 5 team tasks to fulfil in 1 month (Job shadowing, volunteering and writing about it, making a travel plan with prizes, etc.)
3. Creative task - a video, business fairy tale, advertisement, etc.
Career Exploration
Career Exploration is an Open-dialogue discussion between students and volunteers. The purpose is to expose students to a wide range of career possibilities and provide resources to help them begin focusing on and pursuing career interests at an early age. The duration: half a day
Business Ethics Bootcamp
The Business Ethics program will be classroom based, giving introduction to ethical decision-making. Forllowing this, students will also be provided various scenarios involving ethical consideration and decision making, usually in break out sessions. Each group will alos be given a case study and will have to do a presentation. This will be run as a mock competition in the program.
CAPS Japan
CAPS is a hands-on computerized simuation program designed to improve
young people’s decision-making skills, cost consciousness, leadership,
teamwork, responsibility, and ability to see things from diversified standpoints
by running a virtual company.
Entrepreneurship Academy Programme
The JA South Africa Entrepreneurship Academy Programme - a seven to eight month long programme for grades 10 – 12, with weekly sessions of three hours each, incorporating entrepreneurial, financial literacy and workplace readiness programmes, as well as micro-economics and business ethics.
Aflatoun
Aflatoun’s program contains both social and financial themes. Children learn about themselves, child rights, saving, basic financial concepts, and enterprise. Aflatoun puts children at the center of their learning process and engages them with the world around them. By doing so, Aflatoun believes that the social and financial lessons that they receive will stay with them forever.
AEMA
It develops students' awareness of their relationship with the environment and generates thus agents of change with an attitude of active participation and commitment to their community and their environment.
Entrepreneurship Master Class
The program starts by a private sector motivational speaker.
The volunteer asks each one what she/he aspires in life (future life plans).
The volunteer explains the notion of entrepreneurship as a future life plan and what people can gain from such a direction.
The volunteer and the teacher then start dividing the children into small groups of 8 participants.
The volunteer explains what a company means and what is the role of each one in the company.
The volunteer then asks the sudents about the necessity of having logos, presents them some brands logos and explains the values of each company and the necessity of having values.
The volunteer asks each one in which department (CEO, Finance, marketing, PR, production...) he/she perceives himself and why.
The voluneer introduces the first activity as she/he describes what a printing company is for and asks the students'groups to create printing companies in the aim to produce X number of celebration cards
The volunteer asks the students to choose a name,logo and values of their companies.
The student groups then develop the organization structure of their companies.
The small companies send their production manager to buy the necessary material (tools: paper, markers, tape,.....)from a simulated supply store in the class.
The financial department start calculating the costs and revenues.
Students produce their cards, then the marketing manager, the CEO and the production Mangers start pitching for their cards in front of the judging panel.
Companies are assssed on the basis of pitching performance, understanding of the company process, understanding of the financial calculation process.
Be A Leader Lebanon
The program exposes students to the different models of leadership and the social and professional benefits of developing leadership skills. The program addresses key aspects associated with becoming a successful leader by focusing on topics such as influence, integrity, vision, negotiation and collaboration.
Community Citizenship
Community Citizenship familiarizes students with how to set up and run a social entrepreneurship project, and understand the skills, attitudes, planning and behaviors of social entrepreneurs. This workshop aims to cultivate the following:
- Creative thinking and problem solving within their community, alongside communication and presentation skills.
- Teamwork and leadership whilst building confidence and a can-do attitude.
- Negotiations, decision making, managing risks, and responding to change.
- Set up their own social project within their community.
- A sense of ownership and social responsibility within students.
Student Attendance: Approximately 60-100 students per workshop

Aflatoun
Aflatoun is a worldwide movement which could not be created without curriculum adaptation, without generous support and dedication of JAA team, teachers, children, parents, trainers, ministry, donors, partners, volunteers, board members, , family and friends – everyone who has helped bring Aflatoun to children in Armenia.
The Aflatoun Secretariat provided a curriculum and training, and JA Armenia adapted the curriculum, find the resources to deliver and implement the programme in schools.
Entrepreneurship Master Class - Middle Palestine
Entrepreneurship Master Class is a one-day inspirational workshop-for young people between the ages of 14-25 (with differences in delivery for each age group), it challenges students to think about starting their own business as a career, and becoming entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship Master Class builds on the wider key skills; the participants acquire social skills and experience of communications, team work, sales, marketing, finance, problem solving , personal training through improving their performance and use self-assessment procedures to support the growth of quality businesses and quality jobs.
The program is divided into two parts, first the theoretical part, where they learn about the different business departements, the skills needed for every departement, the sources of funding, social responsibillity and the role of board of directors.
The second part is practical, in this part the students are divided into groups where each group has to have a CEO, marketing director, sales director, human resources manager and employees. The students are given material and a certain amount of money in order to make their own product and to convince others to buy it, during this part the students face some challenges where they have to make decisions that will put their virtual business at risk and will cause them to loose or win.
