Fiver Challenge

The Fiver Challenge, supported by Virgin Money, is a FREE, fun and engaging initiative that provides young people aged 5 – 11 years, across the UK with a pledge of £5 for 1 month, to set up mini businesses to create products or services they can then sell/deliver at a profit and engage with their local community.


BizWorld

BizWorld is an interdisciplinary business game, where students run their own (fictional) company during four project days. Students experience the basics of business, entrepreneurship and economics. During this project, students practice and improve their language and mathematic proficiency and develop additionally valuable skills that belong to the 21st century skills.


Business Startup

The INJAZ Business Start Up Program will contribute to the social and economic development, and political stability of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region by engaging the talent of today’s youth and tomorrow’s leaders to create and innovate entrepreneurial solutions to local, regional and international socio-economic and political challenges.  


Creatlon

Creatlon consists of 3 parts.

1.  Obtaining knowledge in economics and entrepreneurship - quiz in Moodle.

2. Team exercise - 5 team tasks to fulfil in 1 month (Job shadowing, volunteering and writing about it, making a travel plan with prizes, etc.)

3. Creative task - a video, business fairy tale, advertisement, etc.

I Think I Can (STEM education)

‘I Think I Can’ reinforces students to learn about sustainable future by sharing the impacts of aluminum can on environment and the benefits of recycling. It gives insight about sharing future resource and entrepreneurship.

Excellence through Ethics - Korea High

Junior Achievement’s Excellence through Ethics offers students learning opportunities to share knowledge and information regarding ethics in business. JA strives to show students how business works, and to better evaluate organizations that conduct their operations in the right way.

Excellence through Ethics is designed to equip volunteers and teachers with supplemental, ethics-based activities for use with JA in-class programs for grades four through twelve. All these activities provide students with current and essential information about business ethics.
These activities are designed to reinforce students’ knowledge and skills, teach them how to make ethical decisions, assist them in learning to think critically, and help them to be better problem-solvers. All the activities are hands-on, interactive, and group-focused to present the material to students with the best instructional methods.

Entrepreneurship Academy Programme

The JA South Africa Entrepreneurship Academy Programme - a seven to eight month long programme for grades 10 – 12, with weekly sessions of three hours each, incorporating entrepreneurial, financial literacy and workplace readiness programmes, as well as micro-economics and business ethics. 

 


Building Achievement Through Sports and Entertainment

JA BASE is typically a one day program that seeks to nurture and develop skills of participants in relation to the fields of sports and arts. This is achieved through tailor made indoor and outdoor activities and engagement of relevant stakeholders to ensure quality learning and outcomes.

Girls Enterprise Program

Girls Enterprise Program is a specific program for girls who are drawn from schools and out of school young girls within 16-18 years. The program aims to teach them entreprenuership and skill acquisition in areas of interest. Skiils such as photography, computer acquisition, pastry making etc are taught.

Entrepreneurship Master Class

The program starts by a private sector motivational speaker.

The volunteer asks each one what she/he aspires in life (future life plans). 

The volunteer explains the notion of entrepreneurship as a future life plan and what people can gain from such a direction. 

The volunteer and the teacher then start dividing the children into small groups of 8 participants. 

The volunteer explains what a company means and what is the role of each one in the company. 

The volunteer then asks the sudents about the necessity of having logos, presents them some brands logos and explains the values of each company and the necessity of having values. 

The volunteer asks each one in which department (CEO, Finance, marketing, PR, production...) he/she perceives himself and why. 

 

The voluneer introduces the first activity as she/he describes what a printing company is for and asks the students'groups to create printing companies in the aim to produce X number of celebration cards

The volunteer asks the students to choose a name,logo and values of their companies.

The student groups then develop the organization structure of their companies.

 The small companies send their production manager to buy the necessary material (tools: paper, markers, tape,.....)from a simulated supply store in the class.

The financial department start calculating the costs and revenues.

Students produce their cards, then the marketing manager, the CEO and the production Mangers start pitching for their cards in front of the judging panel.

Companies are assssed on the basis of pitching performance, understanding of the company process, understanding of the financial calculation process.


Entrepreneurship Master Class Lebanon

EMC is a workshop that introduces students to the various aspects involved in running a business and to the notion of entrepreneurship and equips them with the skills and attitude necessary to be self employed. 


Entrepreneurship Master Class Middle - Qatar

Entrepreneurship Master Class challenges students to think of starting a business as a career option, identify the key entrepreneurial attitudes and skills needed when starting a business and becoming familiar with the issues and obstacles associated with entrepreneurship. By the end of the day, using the materials given, students are required to produce a tangible product and pitch to a panel of judges for most creative and feasible product.

Aflatoun

 Aflatoun is a worldwide movement which could not be created without curriculum adaptation, without generous support and dedication of JAA team, teachers, children, parents, trainers, ministry, donors, partners, volunteers, board members, , family and friends – everyone who has helped bring Aflatoun to children in Armenia.
The Aflatoun Secretariat provided a curriculum and training, and JA Armenia adapted the curriculum, find the resources to deliver and implement the programme in schools.
