Trough seeking knowledge about their local community students discover challenges they can use their creativity and entrepreneurial skills to solve. They work in groups and they have to use their network to find good solutions to the challenge they have decided to solve. The students work throuh 5 phases:
- Detective - by conducting a survey of their own environment, students look for issues related to the theme of clean energy that they feel are particularly important, inspiring and interesting;
- Now I've got an idea! - individually and in groups, students work to develop solutions to their identified issues;
- Now what? - they choose a key research question they want to study and then link with other groups making the same choice in order to develop a plan for finding and realizing solutions;
- This was it! - students prepare to present their project and their SMART solutions to parents and other members of their local community;
- The way forward - reflection on what has been learnt and the value and usefulness of the solutions.
JA Junior Mentor Programme
Students who have graduated from the student company programme but are still at school are invited to join Junior Mentor Programme. They are taugh a short advanced course in entrepreneurship, leadership and management, psychology, commmunication, supporting others, basic tutoring etc.
When new student companies appear at school they go to support teachers-advisors and help newcomers to overcome their problems. They are a valuable support for the teacher as it is easier for them to achieve the trust of their younger peers.
During the trade fair each Junior Mentor gets 5-10 student companies whom they analyse and give advice. At the end they write their report about their learning experience.
Steer your Career Tunisia
Steer Your Career targets university students and vocational training centers students, aiming to aquire the skills needed to integrate into the job market and to operate effectively in a competitive job environment.
Through hands-on classroom activities, personal assessment, role playing, and reflection exercises, Steer Your Career helps students function effectively in the modern
During the program students are introduced to leadership, time management, conflict resolution and communication skills and techniques.
Throughout this course other key concepts covered include problem solving, team dynamics and coping with conflicts in team environments.
The program is delivered in 7 seperate sessions by INJAZ Tunisia corporate volunteers.
It is delivered to engineering school students, Vocational Training Centers and also in a partnership with an NGO (ADRA Jobs Tunisia)
The Dreamfactory consist of a series of 9 different themes within the learning by doing concept.
Doedel is the Dreamfactory mascotte which accompanies the childeren in all themes and is recognizable for the whole school.

Kindergarten 3 (age 5): Samen sterk met Doedel (Originally based on K-6 Ourselves)
Grade 1 (age 6): Ga je mee aan de slag met Doedel (Originally based on K-6 Our Families)
Grade 2 (age 7): Werk je mee aan een toffe buurt? (Originally based on K-6 Our Community)
Grade 3 (age 8): Bouw je mee aan onze droomstad? (Originally based on K-6 Our City)
Grade 4 (age 9): Ga je mee op stap in onze provincie? (Originally based on K-6 Our Region)
Grade 5 (age 10): Trek je mee door Europa? (Originally based on K-6 Our Nation)
Grade 6 (age 11): Kid@Bizz (see also specific separate description as this program can also run separately from the other themes.)
Every theme is based on 5 or 6 different lessons with the organisation of an event at the end of the lessons, creating the possibility for teachers to implement entrepreneurial teaching in the classroom.
The 9 themes are all based on the courant curricula for primary education and have the same end goal: create possiblities for entrepreneurial behaviour.
Focus from Vlajo is on guiding the teachers, not the students, by means of a clear manual and further digital guidance and train-the-trainer workshops.
Problem Solving (PS) and Team Building (TB)
This program introduces students to ideas of unstructured problems, ideas on optimal solutions rather than exact solutions in a group setting that fosters team building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
The overall workshop, including introductions, breaks, Q&A and feedback, can be conducted within 3 hours (excluding the plenary session). The session delivery is through discussions and activities and is hence expected to be very easy on the students.
