Fiver Challenge

The Fiver Challenge, supported by Virgin Money, is a FREE, fun and engaging initiative that provides young people aged 5 – 11 years, across the UK with a pledge of £5 for 1 month, to set up mini businesses to create products or services they can then sell/deliver at a profit and engage with their local community.


Balance, Breakeven or Broke

On Line game developed with the support of Citi Foundation to promote improved financial literacy amongst youth in Indonesia. This is a digital representation of the first lesson in JA Personal Finance in Indonesian and English languages.


Business Startup

The INJAZ Business Start Up Program will contribute to the social and economic development, and political stability of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region by engaging the talent of today’s youth and tomorrow’s leaders to create and innovate entrepreneurial solutions to local, regional and international socio-economic and political challenges.  


Ripples of Happiness

Ripples of Happiness is a 6-week university outreach program created and managed by the Coca-Cola Foundation and INJAZ Al-Arab. Its aim is to foster social responsibility, entrepreneurial skills, financial literacy, and workplace readiness among students.


JA Global Marketplace - Blended

JA Global Marketplace - Blended Model gives students an opportunity to experience the worldwide interdependence of producers, consumers, and the global workforce by playing the role of business owners and managers at the international FreeTrade Market.

JA Lights of OUR Future

This program aims to instill the values & behavior of sustainable living. These include a series of classroom learning and hands-on activities on the following topics:

1. What is Sustainable Living (Everyone is looking for a better quality of life despite the increasing population globally. Is there enough resources for all?)

  1. Water is a limited resource (Why and what is being done?)

  2. What is Energy and how do we reduce electricity consumption

  3. Greenhouse Gas effects

  4. Waste Management

  5. Conclusion (Bringing all the topics together)

Practical Learnings for Students:

Through the session, we also help students:

  • ·  Understand the environmental challenges society faces today and identify them in their daily lives

  • ·  Learn & observe how Science is used to design solutions in the real world

  • ·  Practice brainstorming and out-of-box thinking to suggest new solutions or improve existing practices to solve challenges in their daily environment

  • ·  Link sustainability to financial impact

  • ·  Initiate conversations on the roles they can play to reduce their environmental footprint

JA Talk Show

An Interactive JA Talk Show features two guests/speakers from ExxonMobil Singapore to share their life and work experience with the students. It provides a good exposure for the students as they can interact with industry professionals and ask questions.

Business Ethics Bootcamp

The Business Ethics program will be classroom based, giving introduction to ethical decision-making. Forllowing this, students will also be provided various scenarios involving ethical consideration and decision making, usually in break out sessions. Each group will alos be given a case study and will have to do a presentation. This will be run as a mock competition in the program.

JA Business Skills Pass Program

The JA Business Skills Pass Program (BSP) is specifically designed to supplement student’s learning in the key business subjects under the Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) track. Its well-researched components is created and patterned on some 21st century skills requirements, following international standards, and more importantly to prepare the JA/DepEd Business Simulation program. Designed with specific needs of upper grade students in mind, BSP provides useful and practical content to equip students in their transition to becoming productive and contributing members of the society. This will also provide them with the necessary skills to create and manage an enterprise and prepare them for tertiary education in business.
 


Building Achievement Through Sports and Entertainment

JA BASE is typically a one day program that seeks to nurture and develop skills of participants in relation to the fields of sports and arts. This is achieved through tailor made indoor and outdoor activities and engagement of relevant stakeholders to ensure quality learning and outcomes.

Community Citizenship

Community Citizenship familiarizes students with how to set up and run a social entrepreneurship project, and understand the skills, attitudes, planning and behaviors of social entrepreneurs. This workshop aims to cultivate the following:
- Creative thinking and problem solving within their community, alongside communication and presentation skills.
- Teamwork and leadership whilst building confidence and a can-do attitude.
- Negotiations, decision making, managing risks, and responding to change.
- Set up their own social project within their community.
- A sense of ownership and social responsibility within students.
Student Attendance: Approximately 60-100 students per workshop
