JAM Managing Your Money Smartly
JAM Managing Your Money Smartly is a two hour interactive talk done by a minimum of two staffs of JA Mascareignes. The objective of the talk is to educate youth and young adults on how to manage their money in a responsible way. For JA Mascareignes it is important for our beneficiaries to understand that whatever the amount of money you have in hand, be it big or small, it is vital that this income be monitored closely so as to take it the longest way possible.
The talk is divided into five sections:
- Money Management: Prioritising expenditures, SMART Consumer, Personal Budget Development.
- Credit Management: Different types of credit and advantages and disadvantages of using credit.
- Over indebtedness: what to do when in personal financial crisis.
- Risks and Insurances.
- Wealth Building: based on the book, “The Richest Man in Babylon”.
